After a tense lunch of some chicken and bread, Asmodeus spoke up.
"HEH HEH, a target popped up, let's go," he said.
He then grabbed Azrael and teleported them. When the duo reappeared, they were in front of a dark white factory. A look around told Azrael that he was on the outskirts of the city again. This time, however, it was a different side as the facility that he and Asmodeus had raided wasn't there.
"Huh," Azrael said.
Asmodeus cackled and then blasted a hole into the steel door of the factory. Azrael rushed in. Unbeknownst to the duo, they were spotted by a security camera.

(Grey Side)
After a lunch of lasagna that Grey and Cedric had made, a ringing tune could be heard. Benjamin then pulled a phone from his pocket.
"Pete?" he asked.
Pete had gone out for something earlier.
"Oh, God, seriously?!" Ben asked, "Hold on, I'll be there right away."
He then put his phone away and got up.
"What's wrong?" Ash asked.
"Pete's stuck in the factory outside of the city, and he said that two shady guys are in the place as well!" Benjamin explained.
"Two shady guys? Hold on, Grey, and I will help you," Cedric said as he and Grey stood.
"Fine, fine, just hurry!" Ben said impatiently.
Grey grabbed Cedric's left hand as they went to Benjamin. Ben quickly grabbed his right hand afterward. Once both hands were held, Cedric's tail twitched, and the trio disappeared. When they reappeared, they were in front of a large, dark white building. Grey looked around and noted that they were on the city outskirts again.
"I'll go on ahead," Benjamin said.
He then rushed into the place.
"Ready?" Cedric asked.
"To save Pete? Not really," Grey admitted.
"Agreed, but sadly, we have to do this," Cedric replied.
The pair then reluctantly walked in.

MISSION START!
(Song: Gibril's Stage from Azure Striker Gunvolt 2)
Despite the factory's exterior size, the interior wasn't too grueling to get through. The enemies were weird-looking marshmallows w/ creepy-looking faces that had sharp-lipped mouths and curled hair-like protrusions. They mainly attacked by jumping and biting, but Asmodeus' new weapon form, which was a dark yellow hat, cut through the wretched things like a hot knife through butter. As for the terrain, for a regular person, it would've been quite dangerous, but for Azrael and Asmodeus, it was child's play. The machinery, which pumped out suspicious substances, was simple to aerial dash above and around. At some points, the duo came across bolted doors, but these were easy to get through as Asmodeus simply blasted the doors open. At one point, Asmodeus sensed something. One of the machines was inactive, and Asmodeus went over to it. He then shot out dark magic at it, and it bolted to life! Some more substances came out from it, and, among them, there was a purple orb. Azrael touched it, it went into him, and he sighed. After this, the duo made their way further in. After a bit, they came across a beast. It was white, dripping, and had a face as if it was on drugs.
"Dear lord!" Azrael said w/ wide eyes.
"HEH, hold on," Asmodeus said.
He then changed from Hat-Asmodeus back to his regular form. He then made a dark spark appear and threw it in the enemy's face. The spark exploded, the supposed mid-boss covered its eyes. Asmodeus then became a hat again and went back to Azrael.
"HAHA, quickly, run!" Asmodeus shouted.
Azrael immediately aerial dashed off. After a while, Asmodeus stopped the duo.
"HAHA, the boss is near!" Asmodeus said.
Asmodeus then shakily cloaked Azrael and made them intangible. Azrael quickly dashed through an open door. After making it a good way into the room, Azrael stood still.

MISSION START!
(Song: Weapon Bed from Sonic Adventure 2)
After making their way in, Grey made a horrified expression. The first enemy that the pair saw was one of Pete's nasty marshmallows!
"Uh, Grey, what's wrong?" Cedric asked upon noticing Grey's face.
"JUSTICE!" he shouted.
Grey manifested a yellow weapon in his hand (Cedric told him yesterday that it was called a gun).
(Hold attack button to charge blast or mash button to pepper enemies w/ shots)
Grey charged up a yellow blast and released it. The enemy was obliterated.
"Whoa! Why so vicious?" Cedric asked.
"I don't want to talk about it," Grey said.
He then dashed forward. Cedric sighed and followed suit.

They mainly attacked by jumping and biting, but Grey and Cedric managed to quickly dispatch them w/ Grey's gun and Cedric's lightning shot. The metal things in the facility (which Cedric explained was machinery) pumped out mysterious substances. Upon closer inspection by Cedric, they were revealed to be something called "drugs." Benjamin helped the pair by destroying different machinery, which made traversal far easier. After a bit, Cedric sensed something in a wall. He did an upward dash and a double jump to reach a ledge on the wall. He then strummed his guitar hard and shot lightning out at the only bolted door that hadn't been destroyed yet. A hole was melted through the metal and expanded until it was Cedric's size. Inside, there were some drug ingredients, and, more notably, a floating gray heart. Cedric touched it, it disappeared, and Cedric left the room. He jumped back down to Grey, and the pair continued through the factory. Eventually, they reached a horrifying beast. It was white, dripping, and had a face as if it was on something.
"Oh my...," Grey began.
"What the actual fuck?!" Cedric shouted.
Benjamin then caught up to the two. He'd been damaged a bit earlier and had paused to rest.
"I'll take care of... whatever this fucking thing is," Ben said, "You two, go forward."
"Are you sure?" Grey asked, concerned.
"Yes," Benjamin affirmed, "Now go!"
Grey and Cedric then dashed around the beast. Before it could react, Ben threw a dark blue disc at it. Grey and Cedric heard the beast roar as they left. After a bit, they found an open door. Grey and Cedric went through it. In the room, there was a desk and some more machinery. In the center, there was Pete.
"Oh, thank goodness!" Pete said, seemingly relieved.
Cedric groaned and went over to him. Grey stood still and didn't move an inch.
"Um, Grey?" Cedric asked.
"You weren't in any danger, were you?" Grey asked.
"What are you talking about?" Pete asked, feigning innocence.
"Yeah, Grey, what do you mean?" Cedric asked.
"Those enemies were your marshmallows," Grey said, angrily stepping forward, "Also, why did you come out here in the first place? Seems a little suspicious."
"Wait, those marshmallows were yours?" Cedric asked Pete suspiciously, "Also, Grey's right. What exactly were you doing out here?"
"Hm, you're a bit too smart," Pete said oddly.
He clapped his hands. Eight dark blue shoes surrounded Grey and Cedric.
"Wait, Pete, what are you-?" Cedric began alarmedly.
"Ta ta, fellas. I can't have smartasses like you blabbing to the others!" Pete said w/ a cold laugh.
He then clapped again. The shoes quickly flew at the pair. Grey's eyes grew wide, and Cedric grabbed him and pulled him close. Before the objects could hit, however, dark blue discs covered Grey and Cedric. The shoes shattered upon contact. The pair looked at the discs in shock. After the discs disappeared, Grey and Cedric saw that Pete was furious.
"Dammit, why'd HE have to be here too?!" he shouted.
Benjamin then rushed into the room.
"Pete, what the fuck, man?!" Ben angrily shouted at his twin.
Pete then sighed.
"Looks like you found me out," he said bluntly.
Pete then went over to the desk behind him. On it, there was a brown tube-like thing and a silver rectangle. Pete grabbed them, put the brown tube in his "mouth," opened the top part of the rectangle, and lit the end of the brown tube w/ a small flame.
"I'm not the sweet guy, you knew," Pete said while puffing out smoke.
"Sweet my ass," Cedric said acidly.
"Wait," Benjamin said while pushing forward, "When you spoke w/ me, did you genuinely care about my problems?"
Pete coldly chuckled.
"Is that what you're worried about? Well, I guess you deserve an answer. No, I didn't."
Ben made a face of disbelief.
"No," he said.
"Heh, yes, it's true," Pete said while giggling, "Oh, wait, you ACTUALLY thought I cared? HA! You're a bigger idiot than I thought!"
Benjamin was speechless.
"But... but why did you listen?" Ben asked quietly.
"I only listened because you were like a so-bad-it's-good soap opera!" Pete said cruelly. "'Oh, I'm so sad,' 'Oh, I feel like ending my life sometimes,' 'Oh, I feel SO worthless,' HAHAHA!"
A tear flowed down Benjamin's face, and Grey and Cedric had horrified expressions. Ben then threw his hat off. He had a "hair" protrusion like what Pete had except it wasn't curled, and it was spiky. Benjamin also readied a dark blue disc, his expression that of unbridled fury.
"Aw, is the big baby mad? Is the big baby gonna cry again?" Pete asked derisively.
Instead of answering, Benjamin flew at Pete and threw him into the wall behind him, HARD. Pete made an indent in the wall, and his health already dropped to 94%.
"Heh, so be fucking be it," Pete replied.
FIGHT START!
(Song: Wolf in Sheep's Clothing)
Pete quickly got up and made his feet glow dark blue. He then rushed forward and jumped over Ben. Benjamin, in response, immediately grabbed Pete's leg, spun him around, and slammed him back into the ruined wall. His health was down to 88%. Grey and Cedric immediately dashed over to Pete alongside Benjamin and whaled on Pete until he kicked the trio back. His health was down to 57%! Pete then jumped around the room while shooting out dark blue shoes and marshmallow enemies. Grey and Cedric had trouble avoiding these, and their health dropped to 79% and 83%, respectively. Ben, waiting for an opportunity, struck Pete down and attacked him viciously. Grey and Cedric joined in as well. When Pete jumped back, his health was already at 10%!
"Shit, how'd I get this low? Guess I'll just have to-"
But Pete never got to go into the same overdrive state that other bosses' had gone into. Benjamin immediately cut his words short by rushing and slicing his chest open. Blood seeped out of Pete's chest, and his health dropped to 0%.
"*cough* *cough*, That's... not... fair...," Pete said as he fell forward.
VICTORY...
A dark blue SOUL and a blue wisp floated up from Pete's body. The SOUL was different from the others as the left half glew darker than the right. As Benjamin moved slowly to grab it, a voice rang out.
"Nope!"
Azrael then appeared from nowhere and blocked the SOUL. Ben would've usually been confused, but he felt too dead to respond.
"Asmodeus, quick!"
Asmodeus then appeared and, to Grey and Cedric's annoyance, grabbed the SOUL.
"HEH, you're interesting one," Asmodeus commented on the SOUL.
When Asmodeus' ruined tongue stabbed the thing, Benjamin suddenly felt a stabbing pain in his chest.
"GAH!" he said while dropping to one knee.
Grey and Cedric quickly went over to him.
"Benjamin, what's wrong?" Grey asked.
Asmodeus then sucked Pete's SOUL energy out. Ben then felt as if something was draining from his chest until he felt a horrible pain as he heard a glass-shattering sound (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlX8-lmxL5A). He then fell forward. Half of Pete's empty SOUL had shattered after it was drained. Asmodeus "looked" at the half vessel curiously before throwing it down. Benjamin, w/ his last ounce of strength, reached out and grabbed the half SOUL before it could shatter. Asmodeus then grabbed Azrael, and the duo disappeared.
"Ben, Benjamin?!" Cedric asked, alarmed as he shook Ben's unmoving body.
Grey did the same, and he began to panic as Benjamin didn't move. The blue wisp from earlier then floated over to Grey. He attempted to slap it away, but his hand passed right through it. It then phased into his chest, and everything went black again.

"What are we going to do?" Grey's angel friend panicked.
After their God had found out about what Grey had done by killing someone, he had banished Grey from heaven.
"Heh, heh, why are you even here?" Grey asked crazily, "You didn't do anything wrong."
"I couldn't just let you be banished alone! I asked God to send me down too. I also lied that I had killed as well, and I knew he didn't believe me, but he sent me down anyway for the lying."
Grey then sensed something, and he followed his senses.
"Where are you going?" the angel asked.
Grey didn't respond. The angel, sighing, followed him. After, Grey and his friend found what Grey had sensed. A man was seated in an alleyway. He clearly couldn't see as he didn't register the two people in front of him despite looking directly at them. Plus, his eyes appeared clouded over.
"Why-?" Grey's friend began.
Grey then shot out a magic blast at the man. The man slumped forward and didn't move. Grey's friend then rushed over to the man.
"What the heaven?!" the angel said furiously at Grey.
"Don't fret. This man is simply unconscious," Grey said as he levitated the man.
"What are you-?"
But the angel didn't finish before gasping as Grey dug into his eye sockets. Once he got a grip on his eyes, he tore them out. The world suddenly became dark.
"OH MY FUCKING GOD!" Grey heard his angel friend shout.
He then muttered a spell he had memorized from his spellbook. Suddenly, he had a crude sense of vision. It wasn't perfect as his friend, and everything else looked kind of rough and reddish, but it would have to do.
"Um," his friend asked fearfully, "What are you... what are you going t-to do w/ t-those...?"
Grey looked down at his eyeballs and chuckled.
"Hold his head still," Grey said sinisterly, "I'm going to do something good!"
His friend shakily put his hands on the man's head.

Grey shook his head as the vision cleared up.
"You finally back?" Cedric asked.
Grey nodded. He then noticed that he wasn't holding a weapon. Confused, he looked around until he finally looked back at his shoes. They glew blue. He shuddered as he thought about his horrible vision.
"Good," Cedric said while holding his left hand out, "We've got to get Ben back to the base."
Grey took the hand, Cedric used his right to touch Benjamin's unmoving body, and his tail twitched. The three then disappeared.
