(Grey Side)
When Benjamin awoke, he was back in his room. He felt a pleasant sensation on his chest, and when he looked up, Grey was spreading green magic over his chest.
"Oh, good, you're finally awake!" he said while removing his hands.
"What happened to me?" Ben asked weakly.
Grey paused.
"When Asmodeus drank Pete's SOUL, you fell down," Grey finally said.
"Oh," Benjamin said quietly.
"You did save this, though," Grey said.
He then pulled something out of his pocket. It was half of an empty dark blue SOUL half. Ben grabbed it. Grey then walked out of the room. Benjamin stared at the thing as it moved sluggishly toward his chest. Ben then made his own SOUL appear in his right hand, and he nearly cried. His own SOUL had been broken the same way, so now it completely mirrored Pete's SOUL half. Curiously, the halves sluggishly gravitated towards each other.
Should I put them together? I don't feel like I should, Benjamin thought.
He then remembered everything Pete had said.
"Ok, I'm fucking over it," Ben said w/ as much strength as he could.
He then slowly got up. Sadly, he couldn't help but groan as his body still felt pretty weak.
Ough..., I know KINDNESS can only go so far, but DAMN...
When he finally sat up on the side of his bed, he looked over to the other side of the room. Pete's side, which usually looked cheery and happy, now felt fake, empty, and kinda haunting since Pete was never the kind person he said he was, plus he would never come back to the room... Benjamin then looked down at the empty SOUL halves in his hands. They were already at the edge of his hands. Ben had always felt a connection to Pete, but he never knew that it was because of this. Taking a deep breath, Benjamin moved the halves closer until they finally touched. When they made contact, the halves immediately snapped to each other. Regular blue energy then flooded the inside of the SOUL, and Ben became engulfed in bright blue light. He tried to scream but found his voice didn't work. As the light touched different parts of his body, they gained color, and Benjamin began to remember things. When his shirt gained color, he remembered that he used to be an unconventional clown. When his vest gained color, Ben remembered that he had some minor depression before, but providing entertainment to people had staved it off. When his eyes and cheeks changed shape and color, he remembered that he'd been too short on money one time, and he'd signed a contract. When his pants changed color, he remembered that he had been put into a machine that had melted him down into white marshmallow goo. He was then split into two piles and shaped into two people. When his shoes changed color, he realized that his SOUL had changed color because of years of lying to people as both halves corrupted it. Benjamin had been depressed yet toughened because he lacked cheer, and Pete had been cold and uncaring yet cheerful because he lacked empathy. Finally, when his hat gained color, Benjamin remembered his full name.
Benjamin Peter Frederick
Once the light faded, Benjamin P. Frederick went over to his mirror and looked at his reflection in awe. His body was that of Benjamin, but the eyes and colors were that of Pete. He then looked down at his SOUL at noticed that it was regular blue again. He began to giggle a bit, then a little bit more, then he finally erupted into full-blown laughter. It had been so long since he'd been complete like this, and it felt amazing! Ben then pulled his hat off, which was now blue. He remembered that, while he had liked hats before, they weren't really his style, so he tossed the hat onto his bed and let his "hair" hang out, which now resembled a mix between Benjamin's and Pete's "hair."
"Hehe! Oh, wait, I should probably go back out and address the others, shouldn't I?" Ben asked aloud.
His voice sounded like a mix of Benjamin's southern voice mixed w/ Pete's more silly voice.
Ben then sighed and gave a slight giggle then walked to meet the others.

When Benjamin walked out and met up w/ everyone, it made the rest of the day a LOT more interesting. Firstly, everyone was shocked when Ben came out w/ Pete's features. Secondly, the fact that it was Benjamin w/ Pete's cheeriness also set off some red flags. Luckily though, everyone got used to the new change after a few hours. Grey and Oliver, who had both hated Pete before, were both very much ok w/ this. While Ben had Pete's mannerisms now, he was thankfully much more genuine and actually friendly compared to Pete. Plus, it didn't hurt that Benjamin had a pleasant aura about him. For Grey, Ben became his second favorite person tied w/ Cherry, only coming up short behind Cedric for obvious reasons. Overall, the day became a memorable one once Benjamin became complete once more.
