Oct 13 2042, Day 23-
Tried the heels thing and it was all right. Honestly didn’t really feel all that much of a difference. Which i guess is somewhat a good thing. As much as I’d almost hate to admit it, the fact that I don’t really feel any worse wearing shoes I’m not used to than shoes designed to be comfortably worn throughout the day probably means something. I’ll try buying a size up and see if that helps with the toe issue.
I’ve learned I really hate talking right now. Did the test for the ADA and still was able to do it well enough, though my thumb was starting to cramp up a bit near the end there. But talking is a pain. I’ve developed a bit of a tickle in my throat lately and talking for more than a minute or two makes me have to suppress a cough. To add to that with a different mouth shape than before and with some of my teeth not lined up correctly I’ve somewhat developed a lisp.
My tongue has been getting thicker and longer and I know my teeth and mouth are not designed for polite conversation. Thankfully, that is one advantage of me being in the back corner. No one really to have to converse with all that much outside of the required. And partly because of that and needing to prove I can still do my job I actually got more work done than I usually would.
