Golzar was born being unique, as his stripes would glow bright pink when he's feeling shy or feeling horny. His own father abandoned him and his mother when he was hatched, because he did not want to raise a child having a weird mutation like this. His mother was so loyal to her child, and would not stop encouraging him to pursue his dreams of being a medical doctor.
He gets picked on at almost a daily basis by his classmates. He grew up a tough life, but he has a secret -- he holds deadly venom, and would not be afraid to use it when he needs to. When feeling threatened, he will open his bright blue mouth, baring teeth, and the venomous saliva will drip, which will be very potent to any assailant. Ratchet on one occurrence tried to tease Golzar, but to his surprise, Ratchet is immune to his venom.
Golzar wished to be a doctor for children, but with his venomous saliva nearly killing the medical professor, he was promptly kicked out of medical school and blacklisted from every medical school. This in turn made him to practice medicine illegally, but every child that has seen him often got better faster than a licensed doctor.
He realized the awful truth after he accidentally envenomed Rudyard after a passionate kiss, he vowed to find an antidote to his venom since he was so heartbroken that he might never be able to kiss anyone, even his own species. Ratchet said that his venom tastes like raspberry syrup, which is ironic because he glows that colour. He soon became close friends with Ratchet, to the dismay of Rudyard, but eventually he mellowed to being around Golzar only if Ratchet is present.
He lives with other species that have venom themselves, such as snakes, Gila monsters, etc... so that way he would not run in the risk of accidentally poisoning anyone. He eventually found the antidote to his own venom with the assistance of Ratchet's uncle Dogtooth, so he is often seen carrying a large canteen of the antidote in case if he needs it.
