And we get some exposition on what the MSBA is and a bit more exposition as he learns how to walk. Though amusingly enough, because of the extra conditions on writing MSBA, chapters like this give me anxiety. Like, because of the 20% cap on words spent on dialog (which some do go higher by necessity. This one is 831 words in dialog of 2,631 words total for 31%) I have moments where they're talking and in the back of my mind I'm going "please stop talking now, you're using up the words."

So who controls the other six billion people on Earth, and why isn't the honey badger considered the champion species? (Normally I would propose the ringtail, but we all know it would likely lose to its cousin in a 1v1, just like a fox would. )
Well the other six billion would be spread amongst other champions. As for why not a honey badger it mostly depends on what class you're dealing with. MSBA is a play on the MOBA genre of games. A Honey Badger would probably do really well if you're going for a front line fighter to basically just be up in other peoples' faces. But wouldn't be the species of choice when you are picking for some of the other classes, like adc or mage.
