When Tia arrived in the Pokeworld, she wasn't alone, finding her friend had been transported with her, and transformed into a Mega-evolving capable Gardevoir.
Over time and adventures, the two found themselves growing closer than they expected. A couple years later, the two made it official, getting married in a small ceremony in their new hometown. Tia's heart collar is actually the equivalent of a wedding ring.
