I finally managed to scrape together enough time to make this special possible. 500 (DA) watchers is quite an achievement which I never expected to reach. I would like to thank everyone for sticking around for my stuff, despite my frequent hiatuses. Thank you for all your comments, notes, favs, or even the simple clicks on my artworks, I do pay attention to all of it.
This animation was a very stressful experience due to SFM being utterly outdated and buggy. With the models constantly breaking I sometimes had to scrap certain animations and start over for consistency's sake. Initially, I wanted to include audio as well but was confronted with such a hassle that I decided to leave it out. It's far from perfect but I'm still a mere beginner and will hopefully improve over time.
Sonic and Knuckles wanted to settle a long overdue matter. It was a fair and friendly fight to see who is stronger in combat. Strangely, Sonic accepted every rule that Knuckles put up and even added some conditions of his own to handicap himself. No running, no jumping, no spin dashing, and generally no attacks involving the blue blur's incredible speed. The speedy hedgehog enjoyed a healthy competition, but this was a very odd one. There is no way Sonic would accept a boring challenge or even one he couldn't hope to win. But our red echidna was known for his naivety, he didn't question the spiky boy's intentions at all.
"Take a good look, Knucklehead. I'm going to beat you using my bare feet alone." The confident hedgehog announced as he removed his footwear. Standing opposite to him was his red rival who still didn't suspect a thing. "You can't do much without your speed, can you? You are going down in no time!" Came a reply from Knuckles who approached the speedster with a smile. Sonic grinned back as he reached back into his quills. "Actually, I think that's the perfect cue. After you, little guardian." Sonic spoke as he pulled out a chaos emerald. It appears Knuckles would indeed be going down first, literally.
