This exists loosely as a companion piece to November Holds its Breath. It is also a very patched-and-cobbled, loosely-structured free-verse that has been brute-force-shoved and bent in enough ways to make it have some basic (albeit turbulent) flow to it.
Perhaps it’s also a bit grumpier of a piece than I have any real right to expect other people to want to swallow, but I’ll go where the muse takes me, even if it’s: “…among the garbage and the flowers…”
Beyond that, I think the piece does a somewhat decent job of explaining itself to those, who have the patience and willingness to try and listen…
