This was taken from the same location as the last photo. The sun had set well over three hours before this. Again, this is a 30 second exposure with the only light sources being the full moon, the vehicle lights on the highway, and the city of Reno illuminating the skies.

Wow, thank you *^_^* ...
This was a thirty second exposure under the light of a full moon. The road has that nice glow because (thankfully) a car drove along that highway going in either direction. I really like how this one turned out, and I hope to be able to capture these again once the snow season starts this year. ^^

Ah yes. I know that route.
When I've been to Tahoe, my bro and I have ridden the Tahoe Rim Trail and started our route from the staging are off Mt. Rose.
Riding down toward the direction of Carson Pass from Mt. Rose was easy - Coming back - OUCH!
If I ever did that trail from Mt. Rose again, I'd have someone pick me up down by Carson Pass.

Ehh a camera is the least of my worries. My 7.1MP Nikon which I'd been using for 4 years broke recently. I'll only need one when I head for Illinois later this month, but I'll just bring like 3 single-use cameras :) Those things can actually take some good quality photos! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3519670/
