Now this brings back memories.
I never did my homework nor did I work in class though I always did good on test/exams with around 90% on most of them to spite my lack of studying. Just showing up and listening in class seemed to be good enough for me to learn most things. Too bad the teachers didn't see it that way.

No my marks weren't good enough to get in anywhere since well I did good on test/exams I never had the drive to do much class work/projects which was worth like 70% of my mark. test where 10% and exams 20%. Heck I failed a class with 28% once (2% too low for summer school to even change it to a pass) and had 90's on my exams and most of my test.
I always told myself I was going to do better at getting my homework and projects done but all I'd ever do is just space out whenever I sat down to do any of it.

Aw... Im sure it's because the subject matter doesnt interest you at all. I find it real grueling to take classes that are soooooo uninteresting, someone shoot me!
But.. it's the opposite for me, lol. I hate tests and exams. I don't mind just sitting down and doing homework though =p.

Yeah most people find the class work/homework easier then test/exams I'm just a rare exception.
I found test easy because I had already listen to the teacher drone on and on about it in class and it sunk in so all that was left to do was write down a few answers on a sheet of paper while I had nothing better to do. However homework was something to do at home which provided many distractions which were all much more appealing then it.
I hated wasting all that time scanning for answer in a book when I know that the teacher was only going to tell us all about it the next day anyway and as far as math goes if you know the rules to do one question you know how to do it all so why bother repeating it a hundred times over just give me a test and be done with it.
You know looking at what I just wrote I think that my problem with school was that my negative and uninterested mindset doesn't mix with the way they do things. That being do all the work and try your best and you'll do just fine while I see things as if I've learned it and can show it on a test why bother wasting time with busy work?

It seems like you and I would learn much better if there is actually some practical application or hands on experience coupled with the learning. But alas, I am Chinese, and I must do what I am told D:

Lol perhaps but 20 hours of AMV's, anime movies, anime series episodes, and horror movies can make anyone a little off there game i do believe. So to make up for it...*steals stuff101 book and replaces with good furry gay porns* ^_^ there we go makes the studying thing sooo much better.
i always feel like that at school its really bad during 6th period the only thing that makes it worse is that my teacher never notices my friend sleeping well one time she did but she didnt do anything which i find messed up because when i try to sleep in that class i get in trouble...sigh i hate that class
