Kitty: Here we are, folks! Now that the Ninja has been revealed to be Polt from "Every Day Life With Monster Girls," it's time for Round 1 of the Masked Toon Singer Face-Off! How this works is that we have four of our eight finalists battling it out in two battles, and the winners of both battles will move on to the Battle of the Sixes. The losers will have a Smackdown at the end to determine who will join said winners in the Battle of the Sixes, and the last one remaining will be unmasked, and sent back to their universe. But, before we get down to the nitty gritty, let's see how our panel's stacking up for their race for the "Golden Toon Ear Trophy." Isabelle is still in the lead with 6 points, while Terry Bogard and Principal Cadence are tied for second place with 4 points apiece. However, Fred Flintstone's still in last place with only 1 point.

Fred: I'm gonna get more points in the Face-Off! I just know it!

Terry: Face it, Fred. With the exception of Captain Falcon, you haven't gotten ONE right. Why don't you just admit it?

Fred: Oh, hardy-har-har. -_-

Kitty: Anyway... Let's kick off Round 1 of the Face-Off, with Kraken and Hornet facing off in the first battle, and Gazelle and Polar Bear duking it out in the second battle. First, let's kick it off with two surprise fan favorites who will be battling it out for a spot in the Battle of the Sixes. It's Kraken Vs. Hornet!

Kraken: I gotta say, seeing me and Hornet become instant fan favorites throughout this competition really surprised me. I didn't think we'd be this popular.

Hornet: Yeah, considering all the stuff I did where I come from, whether it was intentional or not.

Kraken: But, now it's time to see which one of these popular favorites will reign supreme! And, after coming THIS far in the competition, I have ZERO plans of being sent home now!

Hornet: And, this yellow jacket's definitely not getting her wings clipped anytime soon! I'm gonna put the sting on the Kraken today!

Kraken: Even if hornets don't have bones, I'm gonna crush her with my tentacles! 'Cause you know what they say: Float like an octopus...

Hornet: Sting like a bee!

Kraken and Hornet: (staring intensely at each other)

Kitty: Wow! It looks like the Kraken's not holding back right here! Now, let's see how the Hornet's gonna top that, shall we?

Kitty: Wow! Hornet's coming back fighting! Guess she really does sting like the hornet she is!

Cadence: Oh, this is gonna be a tough choice for sure!

Kitty: It certainly will be, Cadence! Now, while everyone's picking who would move on to the Battle of the Sixes, let's move on to Battle 2, shall we? It's a battle between two animals from TWO totally different climates, it seems fitting that they would face off against each other! You heard that right! It's Gazelle Vs. Polar Bear!

Gazelle: Wow! It's hard to believe that I actually made it this far! But, if I'm ever to make it to the Battle of the Sixes, there's one more obstacle I gotta get past: that big, white Polar Bear! And, let me tell you something, he looks like one big customer!

Polar Bear: And, since I've made it this far myself, I too have no plans of going home now. All I gotta do is gobble up the Gazelle for lunch like she was a nice, tasty reindeer, and I'll be good to go!

Gazelle: We may come from different parts of the globe, but we both share the same goal: becoming the King or Queen of the Masked Toon Singers!

Polar Bear: Gazelles are from Africa, polar bears are from the Arctic. We may not survive in each others' environments, but since we're on the Masked Toon Singer stage, climate change won't matter. ;)

Gazelle: Exactly! So, in this battle, I'm gonna make a rug outta the Polar Bear!

Polar Bear: And, I'm gonna clip the Gazelle's antlers!

Gazelle and Polar Bear: (staring intensely at each other)

Isabelle: Yeah! She's definitely putting it in high gear!

Fred: Oh, boy. :roll:

Kitty: Okay, Polar Bear! Let's what you can do to beat that! ;)
