This was a project for school, and before you ask NO I did not turn it in looking like Wolf Link. I drew this picture with color pencil, I scanned it in and then turned in my project. Then with the scanned image I photoshopped the details in to make it look like Wolf Link. Wether or not I was successful...who knows.
It's really a pain to render fur, I rushed a bit on this project and got lazy on the right side of the picture...XD

Thanks. I think I'l prolly get the prismacolors, though the artstore guy was talking up the faber-castles. I might get a small set of them just to check them out. I guess it really pays to experiment. I like the way the pencils lay on the mount board in your drawing. Very effective.
