Frankie had a little snack and got a little too tired to go to bed. Maximilian decided to have some fun with more magic tricks, making Frankie float in the air. I'd imagine this would be a very frightening phenomenon to wake up in the middle of, so Maxi is taking extra care.
Fun fact: Watched a magic show once as a kid where they did a trick like this where a person sleeping on a supported plank had the supports taken off as she levitated. The hoop was put around her body and the magician grabbed the hoop at the wrong end. The hoop was cut on one portion (So that whatever high-durability fishing line could pass through), but it was clear as day. I don't know if he was that good of a magician now that I remember it. He had a lot of good tricks, but a few I could clearly see through. He did this thing where he pulled a lot of handkerchiefs out of something, and he tossed them to a dark part of the stage. I saw an assistant sneak over and mess with them, and he took them back to reveal a dove emerging from the pile. I wonder how that got there :P
Honestly, when it comes to magic shows, I prefer something more like Bian Lian, where it's a strong but relatively same-y concept executed multiple times in a thematically consistent show. I had the pleasure of seeing a Bian Lian opera IRL and it's UNREAL. Here's a link for those of you who are curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1IVyo7Txus&ab_channel=SmithsonianFolklife
