Kitty: Hello, everybody! And, welcome to Round 2 of the Face-Off portion of the Masked Toon Singer! I hope everybody's had a great holiday, 'cause it's time to get back down to business. Now, last time, the Polar Bear lost the Smackdown to the Hornet, and unmasked as lesser known Marvel superhero Luke Cage. And, since our panel didn't even guess it was him, the score remains the same.

Fred: Well, I know I'm gonna get one right tonight! I'm feeling lucky!

Cadence: (not buying it) Oh, please. The last time you said that, you got conked on the head with a bowling ball, making you think you were 5 years old again.

Fred: Well, I mean it this time!

Kitty: We'll see about THAT, Fred! Anyway, it's time we started Round 2 of the Face-Off! In Battle 1, we have the Panther taking on the Jester, while in Battle 2, we have the Rat taking on the Cactus! Let's kick it off with our first battle, which pits a lovely desert cat against somebody who has a great sense of humor. Battling it out for a spot in the Battle of the Sixes, it's Panther Vs. Jester!

Panther: I wouldn't say I'm too surprised to make it this far, but I kinda am. Especially now that I'm going up against someone who's been in the Bottom Three last time. But, I'm here to make sure that fool doesn't put me down.

Jester: Yeah, being in the bottom last time really scared me a bit. But, all that's in the past. 'Cause I'm planning to make it to the finale, and no furry Aladdin reject is gonna stand in my way!

Panther: I may have faced some hardships in the past, but I'm here to show everyone, especially the Jester, that this frisky feline's got what it takes to make it to the Battle of the Sixes, and hopefully, the Finale!

Jester: Oh, please! We've already had a female champion last season. It's time for a KING of the Masked Toon Singer this season! And, I think that I would be a perfect candidate for the role.

Panther: No way, Jose! You can kiss your chances of heading to the Finale goodbye, 'cause this kitty's here to stay for the long haul!

Jester: The Panther winning this season of the Masked Toon Singer? Now, THAT'S a joke! ;)

Panther and Jester: (staring intensely at each other)

Kitty: Wow! That was quite a performance from the Panther! She REALLY wants to stay in this game, doesn't she?

Cadence: Yeah! I can definitely sense a warrior spirit inside of her.

Fred: Me too! She said she's been through some hardships, and I can see that!

Kitty: Totally! But, let's see if the Jester can top that performance. ;)

Kitty: Alright! Jester's got some fight in him! That was a rockin' performance!

Terry: Yeah, that was totally funky!

Isabelle: It's gonna be really hard to choose just one.

Kitty: I know, Isabelle. I know. Now, while everyone's picking who would move on to the Battle of the Sixes, let's move on to Battle Two of Round 2, shall we? One was born in the sewers, and got through life by eating outta the trash, while the other came from the desert, and got by with enough water to make it through. So, for our last battle in the Face-Off, we have the Rat vs. the Cactus!

Rat: I gotta say, being on the bottom last time was REALLY nerve-racking. But, since I've made it to the Face-Off round, I gotta step up my a-game if I'm gonna secure a spot in the Battle of the Sixes. And, this is especially scary because I was actually in the Smackdown last time!

Cactus: I hate to admit it, but I'm pretty dang nervous myself. Sure, I've had no problems making this far, but we're getting closer and closer to the Finale! So, I can't afford to let my guard down, and fool around.

Rat: Now, this isn't a new feeling for me. There were times when I felt a bit nervous in the other competitions I competed in, but here, I'm feeling so many different things at once. I'm don't know how to feel at this moment, but I hope I'll be good enough to avoid another Smackdown.

Cactus: I understand that Rat's feeling a bit jittery since he's been to the Smackdown before, and, to tell you the truth, I've got that feeling myself. And, I REALLY don't want to go the Smackdown as much as he does, but I'd rather let it be the Rat than me.

Rat: I actually hope the Cactus gets sent to the Smackdown, 'cause I've got no intention of going back there! You can count on that!

Cactus: Oh ho ho! We'll see about that, gouda-breath!

Rat and Cactus: (staring at each other intensely)

Kitty: Wow! I can see why the Rat doesn't want to go to the Smackdown again! He's certainly giving it his all!

Fred: Yeah! I can tell he wants to keep going! It was definitely a hard choice to make when he was in the Smackdown last time!

Isabelle: You said it!

Kitty: Alright, let's see how the Cactus is gonna fire back at this, shall we? ;)

Isabelle: This is certainly gonna be a REALLY difficult choice to make.

Kitty: I know, guys. But, the choice is up to the viewers. Who do you think won Battle 1? Panther or Jester? And, who do you think won Battle 2? Rat or Cactus? The winners will move on to the Battle of the Sixes, while the losers will duke it out in the Smackdown for a spot, as well. So, happy voting, everyone!
