My guess is that based on the previous pages,it has something to do with her mom either dying or disappearing and that the father could also be missing or dead or abusive so she wants to go back to a time where she is innocent and free and feel happy.

The easiest way to put it is that it is because of trauma or a loosing a fundamental component of one’s childhood. It doesn’t have to be all at once either. Enough small traumas can actually overshadow a life-altering traumatic event if they build up properly. What it ultimately comes down to though, is probably feeling safe or loved. There are probably other answers, but these are generally the most straightforward reasons.
