Ben Massey is firefighter from a long family line of firefighters and can trace that line all the way back to the frontier days. Ben has always known he'd be the son to follow into the family business and took steps to get in shape. He was the team leader for the junior and eventually senior rugby team in high school. As a young man of twenty-one he was picked by the selections committee to be Mr. August in the fund raiser calendar "Barbequed Beef". (All the guys are beefy and have been in the flames.)
