Third page. Been a while huh? Got a few more of these in the backlog that I need to write for. But finally, we got some progress!
☽─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────☾Mor kha'jay traajir ri'renad! Ahnurr is gone, ziss, I hope he's not dead. The cart is wrecked, the horse, Varikuz, is gone, and our stock has been stolen. I thank the gods I'm still alive, now I hope they showed the same mercy to ahnurr. It was just our luck we were stopped by a particularly annoyed duo of Imperial horsemen. They opened our barrels and had us bound when a group of men in blue attacked them.
I must've been hit pretty bad by one of them, it was near dark and snowing when I came to, with a nasty welt on my head. There's no way to tell where anyone who might've survived have gone, the snow has almost filled in all the tracks. But there's only one dead Imperial, not two. I have to assume the other might've made it out with ahnurr. Or if ahnurr escaped, he's had the sense to go to Riften - otherwise I wouldn't know how to find him.
I took the soldier's shortsword and set off down the mountain, towards Riften. That Imperial patrol must have come from there, I don't know of any other nearby town. And I have no idea who those men in blue were. Here's hoping I don't run into any more of them. Ziss'vo.
