☽─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────☾I’ve never felt so alone in my entire life, nor as cold. Nothing quite brings about longing for home and comfort quite like trekking down a gods-forsaken mountain trail covered in snow. It’s just as fantastical and exaggerated as ahnurr’s stories that he used to tell, of the Nords who froze to death getting lost in blizzards during the night. Although I might not have snow coming down on me, there’s certainly enough on the ground to make up for it.
I never thought I’d miss the heat of working in the sugarcane groves, or how much I took for granted from that old plantation. I even miss that grumpy old senche-raht who would complain every second he was on the plow. At least it was entertaining to hear his whining. I just really want to be home.
And what will I do for coin? I barely have anything on me besides what I took from the wreckage. I’ve never even hunted before, food will be another issue for now. I won’t be able to get anything when I get to Riften if I don’t find at least something out here. Now is not the time for worrying though, survival comes first. Questions can come later.
