I think shes lovely and the rendering is great. Im assuming youve already spotted it since you mentioned you see faults, but yeah her seem a bit too close together.

Yea...eyes too close, ears at slightly the wrong angle compared to eyes and nose...and something about her hair is off to me too when I flip the image. But...some people just have their eyes too close together...so I'll chalk it up to that. Coming next- bug eyed wolf!

in terms of her hair, I think its just because its a bit too chunky/showing too much for that angle of the face. I generally associate those smaller tuffs/beginning of the hair with being more behind the ears(from seeing many people draw it) . But then again its a fantasy creature so anything goes.. But I think it would be resolved if you just thinned it out and left the longer strands rather than the bigger chunks at the top!

I feel your pain at hatching and shadign with ball pen. I used to do a handful of ball pen pics when I had to spend a few weeks at the hospital, and fine shades took like, forever. :P

Hmmm.. I just might do that. I'll browse your gallery a bit more then talk to you about prices. Part of the fun for me though is stumbling across a beautiful piece tucked away in a sketch book or gallery and finding that it is still for sale as I did with wolf girl.:)
