So in the story there's 'parasites' that come from an unknown place that gets into people and mutate them. Either into monsters or whatever Santoro is. Santoro and his crew Shigeo, Ziad, and Natalio are people affected by these parasite, well Ziad is kinda different, but they're in the grips of an organization called Paragon. They were all captured by them during a heist. They were most wanted cause they kept stealing shit with their weird ass powers lol. But Paragon struck a deal with them. Hunt other parasite infected individuals or go to jail.

So now to their dismay they're the team Paragon calls to search and capture monsters.
