Sein was born during the long Blindness that followed the passing of Neriah, the sixth Spirit Tree of Nibel. Born from "combined Lights" within a land that had not seen a Spirit Tree in generations, the large amount of Decay saturation within Nibel caused Sein to be born with her heart-Light corrupted.

Sein spent her life trying to find a way to free herself of Decay's grip, hoping to also end Nibel's decades-long Blindness.

Her life story is a long one, involving her traveling the world over, encountering many allies (such as Gesseritch, future Spirit Tree of the land of Rihan and Fellis of Duniwel) and foes, participating many of the historical-important events of her era.

At the end of her long journey, Sein freed Nibel from its Blindness. But though she expected to merely pass away, she proved herself worthy in the end and was granted a second life as the seventh Spirit Tree of Nibel.

Most Called spirits' story ends at the point of Ascension, their lives as a Spirit Tree being largely routine. But Sein's life is nothing if unique and on a fateful night, as Decay take control of the skies and unleash the Great Storm on the lands of Nibel, the unborn leaf of her last son and Heir, Ori, is detached from her branches...
