Meet Ombra, an additional main character for my coming graphic novel reboot. The idea of a mole OC was on my to do list for years, actually. Plus, I get to play around with a character that has invisible eyes (mole eyes are disturblingly tiny and hidden between the fur) and that's super fun because now the snout has to do all the facial expressions.

Ombra is one of Senanca's few most trusted employees and longtime friends, which all stand directly below him in the business hierarchy. Her job is more commonly refered to as "madam of the brothel". (In German it's called "Puffmutter" which literally means "brothel mother", and I like that name much better.) As someone with much energy who needs variety in her daily life, Ombra does her allrounder job most efficiently. Stuff like book-keeping, administration, marketing, laundry, tidying up, first aid, calming those who have a mental breakdown, sending maximum 3 warnings to enemies, cleaning up alibis, hiding bodies, helping out in the reception, and preparing coffee.

Generally, she's a background person, but you will notice a difference when she's not around. She helps manage the business organization, and speaks in action more than words. In fact, she is Senanca's deputy, the closest to the boss rank in the hierarchy, but not interested in the actual boss role at all, simply because those have to attend every boring meeting and other obligatory chit-chat. Ombra only wants to DO things, not talk about things too. That's why young Marvin is the actual successor in business, approved and trained by both Senanca and her. It's not like Marvin has much of a choice though, really.

My story plays in a partly historical/traditional, partly science-fiction world. So Ombra here sometimes wears special glasses which grant her nearly blind eyes a rather good sight, if artificial. But she's not helpless without them, as she's grown up with the blind life before those were invented. Senanca has also provided office equipment designed for the blind to work with, as Ombra is more used to those. The special glasses give her a headache if she wears them for too long anyway.

Btw, I am kinda sad that FA has no species category for moles. :c They are cool animals and everyone knows them. PS; they are not rodents, they are insectivores. So it's another case of "Mammals (other)" for my OCs then. But I'm just a fucking animal nerd who can't decide on a favorite animal even for anthros, lol.
