technically the end result of a slowburn transformation fic but the creature is supposed to be full of little nods to things in Chinese symbiology and mythos with either ties to enlightenment or immortality and some aspects of death. Like the lingzhi mushrooms, spotted deer, rabbits, cranes, butterflies. it also doesn't show sadly in scans but I used a lot of metallic paint in this baby and it's really shiny in person. This took like 3 days to make
