I hashed this out several years ago for some friends when a conversation about Dick Tracy and furry fandom (it made sense at the time) turned into a story idea. They've been insisting ever snce that I post this here on FA and so :deep sigh: this will hopefully satisfy them.
OTOH, if enough people enjoy this, I suppose might try fleshing it out sometime.

Not bad at all! You've managed to capture the spirit of the DT characters and the strip in a way that puts the current daily strip to shame. Though it may be just an outline, it appears to be very well thought out. And it beats the heck out of that infamous CSI episode!

I don't know much about the current strip, though, as I've never really read it. Though people tell me I haven't missed anything.
I guess I'm just going to have to turn this into an actual script/story sometime, given how people seem to enjoy it.
