In the world of Alvez, Lacey is a Tempestarii, the birdlike race that travels the billowing tempests of the fearsome wyldestorms, harvesting magikal energy for all manner of arkane instruments. Since she was young, Lacey dreamed on joining the crew of a windship and flying headfirst into an adventure. Now she is ready for her first voyage, flying into the eye wall of the largest storm she has ever seen....
