How to handle your Derg. (DragoonOfRa)
When handling your Derg, it is important to be gentle, they can frighten easily and will bite if provoked.
Clasp your Derg by the shoulders like a hamburger, allow his legs to droop and ready for landing. Squidge his wings together to allow for optimum carrying position.
Your Derg may fall asleep while being handled, this is normal. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO WAKE YOUR DERG. Prematurely woken Dergs have been known to consume their handlers on sight.
