Up next in the Team Katswell Character Guide is another member of Team Iron Hoof, the ever-so-loyal, and dirt happy mole, Melville Mole.

Melville, being a mole, is an excellent digger, tunneling his way through anything he can get through. Not only does he use his pick axe for digging, Melville also uses it for defense against any bad guys he comes across.

Bio:
Melville Mole was born in Petropolis, California to Maurice Mole, a Petropolis Army veteran who worked alongside General Sutarion, who was Sgt. Stallion's father. Because of this connection, he and Stallion has been very good friends since their school days, and have been very close through thick and thin. But, after graduating from high school, Stallion went on to join the army, while Melville went on to work in a diamond mine just outside the city. But, he still kept in touch with Stallion, and hopes he can join the Army one day.
While working in the mines, Melville demonstrated amazing digging skills, gaining more diamonds for the Kinkart Jeweling Company in record time. Eventually, he got bored with digging for diamonds, and wanted to pursue his dream of fighting crime along the Petropolis Army. So, Melville resigned from the mining business, and enlisted in the Petropolis Army, and eventually reunited with Stallion, who has been promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Although, while he was demonstrating his digging skills for him, he accidentally dug a few holes underneath TUFF HQ, which nearly got him removed from the Army.
Despite desperate pleads from Stallion himself, the Army gave Melville a leave of absence for unintentionally trying to destroy TUFF HQ. However, when another mole known as Ze Mole tried to undermine the Petropolis Army Base, Melville's leave of absence has been nullified for the Army believed that his digging could be what would defeat Ze Mole. So, he went back to the diamond mine he worked at, and gathered his old mining equipment to help him defeat the villain. After using his pick axe to destroy Ze Mole's tunneling machine, Melville was praised as a hero, and became a member of Sgt. Stallion's new crime-fighting team, Team Iron Hoof, as their recon scout.
He eventually met Kitty and the rest of Team Katswell out of a misunderstanding. During a typical conflict between Team Katswell and DOOM, Melville and the rest of Team Iron Hoof jumped in to bail Team Katswell out by defeating DOOM for them. While Kitty thought they were trying to steal their thunder like Team Catz did, Kimiko however sensed that the team has honest motives behind them, particularly with Melville. But, after another run-in with Team Iron Hoof, Kimiko's suspicions were right when she sensed Melville's friendly air after detecting him digging underneath her. When General Guar started planning to unleash a deadly virus on Petropolis, both teams teamed up, and Kimiko used her ninja skills to guide Melville through Guar's soldiers, and taking them by complete surprise. After Guar's plans were foiled, Melville became good friends with Kimiko, and he, along with the rest of Team Iron Hoof, became common allies for Team Katswell to team up with.

Personality & Traits:
Melville is a very brave and noble mole, always willing to do the right thing, even though he can be a little slow sometimes. But, he always manages to keep a calm demeanor through and through, even though his miner's gas mask doesn't tend to show his expressions. So, he's a very nice guy, and he can't stand to his closest friends in extreme danger.
He also gets along very well with the rest of Team Iron Hoof as well. As stated before, Sgt. Stallion is his best friend, and he couldn't ask for a better buddy. Well, except for Richard, who sees Melville as a cool brother he never had. Cali also finds him very cute, and he's actually dating Caroline at the moment, although the two haven't truly confessed their feelings towards each other yet.
In typical mole fashion, Melville doesn't light bright lights. If he gets exposed to it, he gets temporarily blinded for a while, making him useless for a bit. But, he also doesn't like it when his friends get into arguments, and has to be the peace-keeper of the team. And, because of his small size, Melville often gets overlooked compared to the rest of the team. But, no matter the cost, Melville always strives to help out, and tries to help Team Iron Hoof any way he can.
