Up next in the Team Katswell Character is another one of my buddy Rick's OCs, the stern, dedicated, and seemingly quiet agent of RUFF, Meryl Avianna.

Bio:
When Meryl Avianna was a little girl, her father always took care of her since her mother got sick and passed away. Meryl's father was a respected military corporal in the Russian army, and he was always busy with his work while trying to raise her. Whenever he gets called in on any assignments, he would leave little Meryl with a sitter, but when she was alone, she was always training in combat and learning with guns while she wasn't looking. The reason for this was because she wanted to be just like her father, and believed that being trained in firearms and combat would make her understand him better.
One day, however, the military sent a letter to her home stating that he was "missing in action," which left Meryl in a state of sadness. But, she remembered her father always telling her to be strong, and never give up on your goals or passion. So, when she was 18, she joined the Russian Undercover Fighting Force, and continued her combat training under their top agents. Meryl exceeded the agency's expectations, and before long, she became one of their best agents to date. But, she still thinks that her father is out there, and won't rest until she finds out for sure.
It wasn't long before she was assigned to be the partner to RUFF's top agent, Eva Wolfstein, who doesn't take her job AS seriously as she did. However, Eva chose her to be her partner on purpose because she believes that she would be her opposite to her fun-loving persona. While Meryl didn't like this idea at first, she actually DID develop feelings for her throughout their career together, and she even became Eva's manager during her part-time modelling career. The two of them became insperable when it came to crime-fighting, and Meryl would always be there for Eva no matter what.
Meryl then met Team Katswell under undesireable circumstances when two Pseudo-communists, Comrade Crocovsky and Sil'vyy von Bomba, got into a feud with one another for control of Russia. So, Team Katswell, along with Jason Blackclaw and Silva Vixenowski, were called in by Eva to help the two of them deal with this, and Meryl was impressed by the team's members and how formidable they were (especially Jake, whom she has taken a liking to). Unfortunately, Meryl was kidnapped by Crocovsky's right-hand bear, Bruno, and Kitty, Jason, John, Jake, Niles, and Kimiko had to go and rescue her. After Kitty defeated Crocovsky and Bruno, Jake rescued Meryl, and reunited with Dudley and the others after they defeated Sil'vyy. After celebrating at the Russian circus, Meryl was extremely grateful for Team Katswell's help, and was on call with Eva to assist them in any way she can.

Personality & Traits:
Meryl is very battle-hardened and stern thanks to her military training, and she takes her job very seriously at RUFF. She may seem like a total bore to be around, but she's only really doing this because she just wants to look out for those she cares about, especially Eva, her best friend and partner. Deep down, Meryl's actually a kind and sweet person who just wants what's best for her friends, allies, and RUFF itself.
When it comes to her interactions with others, Meryl usually keeps to herself, and doesn't tend to go out that much. She has trouble developing friendships like Eva did, and tends to shy away from big crowds. But, she started opening up more when Team Katswell came to Russia to help them deal with Crocovsky and Sil'vyy, where she secretly admired Jake's bravery and skills with pistols. But, she gets along the best with her new partner, Eva, and she trusts her completely whether on missions or just hanging out.
Meryl enjoys playing video games in her downtime, mostly preferring the more modern FPS games of the time. She also acts as Eva's manager during her part-time modelling career, even though she never really got into the whole modelling thing. But, she agreed to be Eva's manager seeing how much she enjoys it. But, Meryl always puts her duties as a RUFF agent first, and is willing to help out Eva and her allies anyway she can.
