Oct 24 2042- Day 34

Went to his place today. Brought some of my stuff over. At least some of the things I can do without for a few days. But it did give me a lot of thought about just how little all the stuff I have will matter in a few months. Like already my pants are already starting to not fit again and I only went shopping for them the other day. But like what am I going to do with all my plates and stuff in a few months?

His place is actually far larger than I was expecting, really. I mean, I knew that they wouldn’t have let him be a certified handler if he was living in some tiny apartment. But what I got was a house with what must have been like a full acre of a backyard. Completely fenced in so that there’d be no chance of me being able to just leave under my own power. But still. Far larger than I was expecting. He even said since I seem to be maintaining my mind that he’ll put in a automatic door opener so that I could get in and out with a button I can press.

Also met Francis, his previous charge. He turned into a cat but he wasn’t so lucky and completely lost all of who he was. Apparently was one of those freaks that did so willingly, just didn’t count on his biology saying he’d lose who he was. So now he’s just an ordinary house cat. And since I was new he spent the entire time hiding from me.
