Normally gravestones with Medusas on them aren't in great shape. The slate the Soule family often used was unstable and wore poorly.
However, the Miles Standish Cemetery is, relatively speaking, a treasure trove.
It has at least 10 Medusas (Medusae?) in good-to-great shape, most by either Ebenezer Soule or his son Ebenezer Jr.
