Another in the amur leopard photos series of photos. I'll keep them up until I run out. Then I'll go back and get more! ^.^
This, as with previous photos, was taken on Dec. 31, 2020, at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. I can't remember the names of the two leopards, I'm sorry to say. There's a male and female that share space as far as I do recall. The amur leopards and snow leopard are switched between different enclosures to give them a change of scenery, also.
The sun gave a neat effect behind the leopard, though it made for quite a challenge in pulling detail from the foreground. In doing so, a lot of texture came into focus. I like it, there's a surreal quality about it. Ethereal and almost otherworldly, no?
As I mentioned with the previous leopard photos, this was taken through a fence. So the focus can only manually be adjusted so much to cause the links to fade. It's almost faded out of focus enough not to be noticed here. My camera lacks IBIS, so maintaining manual focus from that far away while holding it by hand means sometimes I get better results than others.
Feedback is always welcome and helps give me ideas of what you all are interested in seeing. Thanks for viewing.
