I wonder if he was an ancestor to Albert Augustus Pope of various automobile manufacturers -- and Columbia Bicycles.
There are two or three false centering points, primarily in the flowers in the center of the lunette. Nice low-relief, too. Is this basalt? It's pretty dark.
