Ritchie and Marul relax and catch a breath, leaning against Sawyer's countach after a daring rescue from some cartel's drug trafficking operation at a run down Miami pier. While bringing down said operation, our two vigilantes managed to rescue a damsel in distress, who despite her small figure, turned out to be able to handle herself quite well considering the circumstances. After the dust had settled and the bad guys down and out, Ritchie on Sawyer's suggestion stayed with her to keep her some calming company after the fact whilst Sawyer dealt with the aftermath before they could leave. Marul was of course slightly embarrassed from all the attention she was suddenly getting from this dashing hero. After conversing for a good while, Ritchie finally decided to ask whether she had any plans for the night. What was she to say? "Thought you'd never ask."

This is an absolutely lovely picture by  Torakuta that I wanted to get as a lil gift for  Marul . I love the stuff she's drawn and since she has been so kind in drawing my characters, I wanted to give something back. Since she really liked the "canon" versions and backstories of my two eagles (especially my harpy), and since I've long kinda wanted to draw or have them drawn in their proper theme with their proper personalities, this was the perfect opportunity to get some done. I love the 80s aesthetic and yes, the countach is my favorite car and yes, the clothing is very Miami Vice inspired. I really love how this came out, the lighting makes it look so relaxing, like the calm after a storm. Yes, there is a calm before the storm, but there is one after it also so don't fight me.

In addition to the usual stuff I draw and commission, there will be more of both my birds in their proper theme in the future!
