Karev Vulke was a character I played for an evil space pirate Starfinder campaign. He served as the pragmatic and focused captain in contrast to the zanier and more sociopathic members. A member of a wolf-like race of aliens known as Vlaka, he was born blind, but an excellent sense of hearing and training in manipulating entropic energies (Vanguard classes fantasy sci-fi source of power), he acted as the groups tank, dodging and absorbing both blows and bullets. He was fun to play, especially with the house rules the DM was experimenting with at the time. The campaign did ended up on a cliffhanger with him making a deal with a eldritch space horror that'd been trying to manipulate him for a while to save the rest of the crew that'd been arrested. The session ended with Karev Vulke losing consciousness after agreeing to accept his power, though real life happened and we had to end that campaign before I could see what happened next.
