Let me present you the Vulpix Machine gun infantry.
This soldier is the key of many Vulpix infantry squad. He have multiple role. From being the support and deliver very powerful suppressive fire to eliminate entire infantry group in a bunker or from a cover.

The equipement is a little better than the basic infantry, he have a helmet, shoulder pads, a thicker breastplate, knee pads and a plate above the crotch and also on the legs. Like always, in durasteel (lighter and better than steel) and finaly, reinforced boot, combat googles, and a small pouch for extra bullet or first aid kit etc.
He can attach his multiple magazine on the breastplate for ammo stocking and can carry a backpack.

The weapon is a Vulpix gauss machine gun. with a rate of fire of 1200 RPM, it's a very powerful weapon using a 100 DART ammunition magazine, those ammo are able to go through the majority of armor and helmet known in the galaxy. This weapons is the perfect tool for clearing whole infantry squad really fast or doing suppresive fire.
This machine gun can't deal with well armored tank, but it can do a lot of damage to light armored vehicle or big living target like creature 20ft tall.
For example, A vulpix soldier get lost in the wood after his transport ship crash and then he took this machine gun with him. He met a huge 15ft tall and 30ft long creature that usually kill and eat others. the creature charged at him and the soldier fire a whole magazine, completely shredding the creature. Killing it in a few seconds.
The weapon in powered by a zero point energy cell, a very useful thing when you have a gauss weapons that need a lot of energy to work. This cell is completely safe and if damaged, it will just stop working while not generating a single spark.
the autonomy of this Gauss weapon in terms of energy is very high and the battery have to be changed very rarely. This weapons is also often mounted on Vulpix tank.
The soldier also carry a Vulpix gauss pistol that can fire in single shot or burst.

Those Soldier, are quiet agile like all Vulpix infantry, even if the weapons and equipement is a little bulky. They are realy good support soldier for infantry squad and are often very usefull in any combat scenario. They also can be used in squad in a bunker or in ambush position.
