rawr riding in a tank is awesome! riding in a Predator MBT from 40K with the steamfox... better! rawr! I's king of the world! *laughs*
well this year at AC i had the honor of meeting up with the amazing artist roy pounds or
steamfox in all my years as a chakat and seeing so many of mr. pounds work i never in my life thought i ever get to meet the man and by fluke it happened! *smiles happily*
well knowing that steam loves to draw military hardware and we both enjoyed 40k a bit though steam has a passion for the eldar vehicles i asked him for 2 pictures and this was one of em. me in the tank copula(sp) and him in the driver seat and we decided to take a "Crimson Paw" (instead of Crimson Fist) MBT Destructor battle tank for a joyride. I hope those space marines don't mind that there is a vehicle missing from the armory... oh well joy riding!!

I like your scans Muuuuuuuch better! By the way, I think I still owe you a "Chakatty Armor" type sketch too, don't I? (Want it to look like it's steam powered? I think it'd look even more intimidating with tall stacks that feature spikes ringing the openings like they used to do on the old Riverboats.)
*giggles and laughs* aye you did say you wanted to try out doing my character in 40K tech marine armour i would love that. as for steam powered i don't think that would fit to much maybe the next one just right now i'm looking for as true to the official concept as possible. *bows* sorry! but i'll keep that steampunk idea in mind next time we meet.
and are you sure you like my scanner better? i had to buy a brand new one and it still is a little small for my sketch book :P as well as i think this scan is a touch off angle but i suppose it does do decently.

I'm also hoping to post a few new model pics after Christmas
I plan on getting the new hive tyrant/swarm lord kit and a trygon kit.
I'm gonna make me a Swarm Lord and a Harpy hopefully.
and maybe if I have enough money left over I might buy a Tyranid warrior kit and finally make a model of my Fursona

*shi nods* fair enough :) i'm working on some blood angels for a campaign i'm starting up soon. :) got the captain i need to build then next I'm gonna be making up my Stern guard squad with 2 combi meltas, a power fist and a flamer and heavy flamer. (couldn't afford the points for a second heavy flamer yet :P arrrrrrg *snaps fingers* but hey :) gonna be good!
building the unit with the flamers and metlas because i know one of my players is taking a cultist spam list with 2 forgefiends >,< so i want to be able to come down in a pod fire at least 2 meltas (may turn the flamer into a melta and combi melta intoa combi flamer) and then drop off 2 flamer shots to wipe out some of the cultist blob surrounding em. :P with my captian in the front going "come on... bring it! i got a storm sheild and a thunder hammer and your face is asking for it!"
