An amazing attic found I happily share with you my dear watchers ❤️
I clearly remember buying this still in mint condition record in a supermarket.
Paid 0.99 Pfennig, that‘s about 50 Cents today, wow such a bargain 💵😊
Graham Goldman, founding member of 10cc („Dreadlock holiday“) sang and played most of the instruments of that magnificent OST which just fits perfectly to the chars and scenes.
I tell you my a few of my favorites:
There‘s first of all „Go for it“ which is played during a smooth disco 🕺 scene where the athletes relax and groove to the music, I tell you it doesn’t go any more end70‘s discoesque !
Even Kit Mambo the busty and really curvy lioness runner gets her well deserved song with less text but a constant and steady rhythmic drumming that underlines her stamina and seemingly endless power to stay in the race.
To share a nasty thought, well...
I sometimes imagined myself making sweet love with my first furry crush, Mrs Mambo with that ongoing beat in the background, i don’t know, it sounds really hot and wild just like her ❤️
We have „Love‘s not for me“ where Rene Fromage realized all of a sudden that he just dedicated his life towards his career and missed to taste the sweet fruits of life.
Now there’s a certain „wellequipped“ lioness
and Rene gets a change of heart. This tearjerking ballad features a solo accordion part where she transforms into a barechested golden statue coming to life running away from the confused „horny“ billy goat.
„With you I can run forever“ themes around our two lovebirds finally coming together and getting to know each other; it’s a smooth, uplifting feelgood song underlining their happiness and unity on the path of love.
Animalympics O.S.T. came out in 1980 and hasn’t been released on CD 💿 yet but you can easily google and enjoy it on YouTube
For a mint album a serious collector pays up to 50 Euros 💶 so I guess I made a decent deal a few decades ago.

There was another one like that that stuck in my brain. jack and the beanstalk. it was anime trying to do disney, but it had some of the most beautiful progressive rock I've ever heard, and many other styles. you might enjoy that
