I remember I was trying to make it look like a mane. It didn't turn out as well as I hoped.

The color choices are quite good but overshadowed by the blurry coloring. One year later the coloring is much crispier (it can still improve more though!) and you developed the technique of greyscales and curves, improving the color balance even more :D or did you use greyscales even back then?, I see the border of the trees' leaves show funny colors, which makes me think you didn't.

My favorite part of the scene are the sky and the mountains, I like them more than anything else c:

This was before I learned about using grayscale to control the contrast in my art at this point, so I had a bit more trouble with lighting at this point. Good eye.
The background in this picture is the part that I was the most happy with, as well.

I would love to see more of your older work, please! This is a cute concept. I can imagine a good dragon heping a bird, a fellow creature of sky. Nicely done!

This one may be rather kind, but evil dragons have their place, too. Balance is what makes things most interesting.

Oh i'm not that hostile toward good dragons...I'm not doing anything against them, and even favour peace...I just declared wars (actually my Godess did) to the foolish mortal races, as they are nearly not that mindful as the draconic race. The good and bad dragons fight because the good dragons are submitting themselves with the younger races, but they take the world as granted. We, evil dragons just want a world of dragons for ourself, but wish not to do battle with our good brothers and sisters...If the younger races would see the world in our eyesight, then they would be accepted, but my Godess, Tiamat think they are not worth the time to teach, because most of them are inferrior. As for me: As the high-priestess of Tiamat, who am i to argue with my Godess's choice of action? And i also think, that most humanoid races are too delusional with their role in life. Maybe dragons are delusianl as well, but we have the might, to back up our will. Maybe that's why there are so many dragon-slayer-wannabes, and only a few talanted dragonslayers as well.

so yep, i'm not that evil, just obeying my Godess's wish. I also aim to balance the world...to favour the dragon race. MUHAWHAHA!

Awwww I love this one, I have gotten so used to seeing all these majestic pieces of the dragon, which of course I love since that is the way I view them myself, but it is wonderful to see just a simple piece with a light cute mood to it, Nothing grand just a beautifully simple piece with a little laugh to it.
