It turns out, there are snakes there after all...
For the past couple years, following a shift towards more heavily working with Kroashent, I've started a little tradition of "Saint Patrick's Gwaes", celebrating the Emerald Isle with it's spiritual daughter, Gwaeron Sulime Dethemir of the Tuatha de Danaan. Gwae is from the Isle of Emain Ablach, a fantastic land of magic and mist, inspired by Irish mythology. Ironically, in the world of Kroashent, the serpentfolk Nathair have not been driven out, as the snakes were in the traditional Irish tale, but rather thrive on the island as advisors, seers and guardians. This year, Gwae finds herself taking up the mantle of the lady of Loch Dearg until another Nathair can be found to take her place!
