(Chester and Geoff)
The next day, Chester slowly woke up and yawned. He looked down and smiled. Geoff was cuddling his belly and had his face nuzzled into the fur. Thread was snuggled in his fur. He was going to let Geoff stay there for a bit, but, unfortunately, Chester sensed the ever-so-familiar feeling of his mom near a reverse SOUL and cringed.
Dang it :[... Chester thought w/ a groan.
Reluctantly, Chester shook Geoff awake (gently clumsy, of course).
"Geoff, Geoff!" Chester said.
After a bit of shaking, Geoff groggily awoke w/ a sour expression.
"Fuck, why now?" Geoff complained throatily.
Geoff sat up slowly before he suddenly got a thought.
Hold the fucking phone...
"Did we... actually kiss, or was that just a drunk dream?" Geoff asked w/ wide, dark eyes.
Chester giggled at that.
"Nnnope :3!"
Geoff blanched for a bit, before shaking his head and quickly getting up.
"I need my damn coffee..." Geoff said throatily while going to the kitchen.
After an awkward breakfast of some bacon eggs and some freshening up for the day for Geoff while Chester scratched another tally mark into his room's wall, the two did their usual hoodie thing w/ Chester and quickly left. After a bit, they made it to the construction zone. When Patrick saw Geoff's expression, he groaned.
"This soon? Again?" he asked.
Geoff nodded grimly.
"Yep," Hoodie-Chester said too.
Patrick sighed in annoyance, but still put his hands out.
"Y'know, I'm really getting sick of this," Patrick said, as Geoff and Patrick took his hands.
Geoff rolled his eyes.
"Likewise."
As Chester made sounds of concentration, Patrick sighed again, slowly twitched his tail, and three were gone. On the other side, they ended up in a strikingly familiar place. It was a city that looked pretty similar to Silph City, except it seemed grander and a bit more modern. When Geoff and Patrick realized where they were, they instantly lit up. It was Ride City, where Patrick and Geoff's known family members lived! Patrick's smile quickly turned to cringe as he realized that he had to go back to work. At that, w/ a heavy heart, Patrick disappeared, though he was resolved to come back here at a later point. As for Geoff, he was grinning from ear to ear.
"Why are you so happy?" Hoodie-Chester asked.
"This is where my cousins live!" Geoff said excitedly, "Plus, I fucking love this city."
"Huh, that's great!" Hoodie-Chester said w/ a mental smile.
Geoff then remembered why they were there and shook his head before dashing forward. Surprisingly enough, they didn't rush past someone this time.
MISSION START!
(Song: Espresso w/ Bayonetta from Sonic After the Sequel)
The best way to describe the stage was that it was like the first level that Geoff and Chester did after meeting Lilith, except much harder. There weren't exactly enemies, per se. Instead, red knives flew around the place, immediately flying towards Geoff and Chester when they got close enough. As for terrain, some parts of the road had been taken out w/ some gaps being bigger than others. There were also some grind rails above a handful of larger pits that Geoff had to balance on. Overall, it was a pretty weird stage. Eventually, though, Geoff and Chester reached the end, but, for the umpteenth time, they were too late! Lilith was facing the companions, a cracked, dark red SOUL in her left hand and, for some reason, what looked like a paper bundle in her right. Under her, there was a ninja-esque figure w/ a red wisp-like thing above them. Finally, there was a chubby-looking figure struggling within some dark flames. Lilith giggled.
"HEH HEH, I WIN, BOYS!" the wretched woman boasted.
Immediately, some bladed chains flew from Hoodie-Chester. Smirking, Lilith raised some dark flames and blocked the weapons. Suddenly, some flames erupted around the lovers!
"NO, NO, NO~! NO USING WEAPONS AGAINST MUMMY DEAREST!"
Chester growled. Lilith giggled and sighed.
"AT ANY RATE, I DON'T HAVE THE TIME TO DEAL W/ YOU FUCKSTAINS. SO, I'LL JUST LEAVE YOU W/ THIS," Lilith said while throwing the paper bundle, "READ IT IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO DADDY."
Chester looked at the paper bundle w/ total skepticism before Lilith quickly left. Just as she left, though, the red wispy thing split in half and flew towards the companions. Once it phased into them, the world went black one last time. After the last series of unintelligible images, Geoff and Chester came to reality. Just as they did, though, Geoff quickly ducked as a gray cleaver was chucked at him! Indignant at first, Geoff was about to shout angrily at this, before he saw who the attacker was and gaped. It was a fat, patchwork golem wearing a black shirt w/ a hot-pink design and he also wore some Tim-like shoes and a pair of jeans. He had growths on his head that simulated hair and black eyes w/ white pupils. It was Patrick's offspring-in-law, Grey! Geoff quickly readied his new weapon, a red knife. Chester quickly did the same, but his weapon was a big red stick (don't take that out of context).
"Ready, partner?" Geoff asked.
"Hee hee, of course, friendo :D!" Chester replied as Geoff ducked again due to another cleaver whizzing by.
FIGHT START!
(Song: VS Grey) (Link: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/41169400/)
The first half of the fight was mostly standard, though, there was one interesting thing. Grey used the exact same weapons that Geoff did except for the gray weapon, much to Geoff and Chester's shock. As for movement, Grey had a fairly standard moveset that was pretty much like Geoff's. As for difficulty, the fight wasn't too hard. At least, at first. After Grey's health dropped to 50%, suddenly, he shouted upwards, much to Geoff's confusion.
"Dafu-?" Geoff started.
His confusion turned to utter shock when he saw what Grey did next. Suddenly, the patchwork exploded in a small explosion of color! When the color died down, Grey was still there, but he was new and improved. His skin was white and stitchless, his clothing was black and white, his eyes were rainbow-colored, and, most shocking of all, Grey had two large rainbow-feathered wings! Geoff and Chester couldn't help but gape at this angelic being. Strangely, they also couldn't help but salivate at this, much to Geoff's self-disgust as he wiped the drool off.
"Dafuq is wrong w/ me?" Geoff asked.
Angelic Grey then rushed the two as they dodged and the fight continued. From this point on, though, the fight went from 0-100 immediately! Grey flew around lightning fast, throwing out multiple weapons quickly. As a result, this fight ended up becoming incredibly difficult! Grey ended up taking less damage as he could dodge much quicker than before, and his weapons hurt a heck of a lot more! As such, Geoff and Chester's health dropped steadily until they were at 15%!
"Fuck me, I don't think we can win this..." Geoff muttered.
"What?! No! We can win this!" Chester replied, not willing to give up.
Grey then began to rush toward the couple one last time. Geoff simply braced himself. As for Chester, not willing to give up, did something in desperation. He pooled his power in his arm, and just as Grey closed in for the kill, Chester quickly whipped out his arm and threw something out w/ his eyes shut. Suddenly, Grey made a weird noise. When Geoff and Chester looked up, they saw that Grey had a dark band on his chest. His wings had seized up and he dropped like a rock. Without thinking, Chester stretched his connected mouth and deeply inhaled. Slowly, Grey's rainbow energy was drained and sucked into Chester's mouth. Eventually, Grey was reverted back to his usual form. Geoff watched the whole thing in horror.
VICTORY?
Geoff turned to Chester.
"What the fuck dude?!" Geoff asked, understandably shocked.
Chester nervously shrugged w/ wide eyes.
"I don't know! It was like my body moved on its own!"
"Like hell it did!" Geoff replied.
Their conversation ended abruptly when they heard a small grumble. Turning away from each other, Geoff and Chester saw Grey stirring and getting up.
"Oh... What happened?" he asked groggily while rubbing his head.
Geoff sighed.
"You were fucking possessed and attacked us," Geoff replied bluntly.
"Oh, really. I'm so sorry," Grey said shamefully.
When he noticed Chester, though, his eyes went wide.
"Dra-?"
"DON'T," Chester said w/ absolute anger and a stoic expression, "I AM NOT DRAKE. I AM CHESTER."
Grey and Geoff were both taken aback at this. Chester was scary when he got like this. Geoff then cleared his throat.
"So, um, what were you doing here? I heard from my friend, Patrick, that you didn't like doing this sort of thing," Geoff said.
Grey sighed.
"I saw that something bad was going on. I tried to call my husband, but he wasn't available, there wasn't anyone else I could call, so I had to deal w/ it myself," Grey explained.
Geoff's eyebrows went up and he nodded in understanding.
"Understandable."
Grey, giving a small smile, took out his phone and dialed a number. Geoff looked to Chester.
"Ready to go?" Geoff asked.
Chester nodded w/ a smile. Backtracking a bit, Geoff noticed the paper bundle on the ground. When he picked it up, he noticed it was like the newspapers that he usually delivered. Chester made a disgusted sound.
"Ugh, why would you pick up something from her?" Chester asked.
Geoff shrugged.
"Well, I'm curious as to what it has to say. Plus, Lilith said you'd find out about your dad if you read it," Geoff replied.
"Pfft, and you trust her?" Chester asked w/ a raised eyebrow and crossed arms.
Geoff shrugged again.
"Do you really have anything to lose by reading it? I mean, at worst, it'll most likely just be a damn taunt that can just throw in the recycling bin."
Chester sighed.
"Ok, you have a point."
"Cool. We'll check it out when work is done. K?" Geoff said.
"K."
Geoff then rushed back to the starting point, ignorant of how badly this would turn out.
...
(Chester and Geoff)
Thankfully, the stage was easier to go through backwards as all the red knives were gone. Eventually, Geoff and Chester were finally back at the starting point. Once there, Geoff pulled out his phone and dialed Patrick's number.
"Hey, Pat. It's done," Geoff said.
"Whoa, what's wrong w/ your voice?!" Patrick asked.
Geoff groaned.
"I don't fucking know. Can you please just get here?"
Patrick paused for a bit before sighing.
"Alright."
After Geoff hung up, Patrick appeared. After he put his hands out and saw Geoff, he cringed.
"Damn, you've changed so much. You've got full black hair and black eyes w/ red pupils..."
Geoff got a pained look at that. The red was, of course, due to his current SOUL trait.
"Shit, I'm like my cousin, Gasper, now."
Usually, that wouldn't be a bad thing, but in this case, it was concerning. Geoff sighed and took Patrick's right hand while Chester took the left. Giving Geoff a concerned look, Patrick slowly twitched his tail and the three disappeared.
