Chocolate and nutella, how can you go wrong - from puffin-cooks !
******************************
Wow. That's all I have to say about these cookies -- WOW. If you're a chocolate lover, you'll adore these. I took them into work the other week and my coworkers would not stop raving about them!
Ingredients:
1 full jar Nutella
1/2 cup + 1 tbsp all purpose flour
1 large egg
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350F. On a sheet of parchment paper, spoon small teaspoon-sized dollops of Nutella (about 15 - 20). Place in the freezer to firm up while you make the dough.
Combine flour, egg, and 1 cup of Nutella in a large bowl and mix together until flour lumps are gone.
Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper. Flour your hands; begin rolling teaspoon-sized balls of dough, then flatten each in your palm or on the parchment paper. Remove the chilled Nutella dollops from the freezer; use a spoon to place one dollop in the center of each flattened dough patty. Take another teaspoon of dough, roll and flatten, and place it over each prepared patty. Press the edges to cinch the cookie together (a la ravioli).
Bake for approximately 8 minutes; cookies should still be a bit soft when removing from the oven. While still warm, press chocolate chips into the top -- careful not to break through and release the molten Nutella inside!
Remove cookies from the baking pan to cool. Eat as soon as possible!
