So for the Weekly Drawing #3 for last year (actually the 10th drawing of the year) I had done a music drawing, of listening to a single song on loop and using that to dictate what I drew. So since the last two were copying themes I went and did the same for this one. And then spent about 15 to 20 minutes trying to figure out what song to listen to and settled on "Man on the Moon" by Zella Day (actually just had the Jayfeather MAP on loop) and when the beat started up I started grooving, so I decided to have that be the image. And since the 9th drawing of last year I drew was a Mige drawing it also made it fitting to be doing that one as well.


So then I listened to the exact same song on loop for 4 hours straight as I drew Mige dancing to the song. And over all I really like how this one came out. And far beyond pretty much any other drawing I've done I think it is the best indicator of just how much my art has improved. Because comparing this one to the two from last March I do not think I could have ever pulled this drawing off back then.


Though I really need to almost go back and more finalize just how much of Mige's forelegs are the socks. Because I keep changing it between images. Sometimes it's just the paws, sometimes all the way to the elbow and this time most of the way up.
