Lucie ran out ahead of the group, waving about her inflatable toy - the banana squeaked in reply to her sword like swishes, "I will make a sand castle and rule over the surf! They will call me Queen Lucie and I will rein for...," she quieted down ",....as long as we are at the beach..." Her pace slowed as she squeezed the banana once more with a happy squeal, though the banana's expression didn't share the same attitude - it remained neutral about being in the presence of royalty.
Chloe and Aeril strode up along side Lucie, the duo chuckled at the excited pup. Aeril shuffled about trying to carry her towel and the umbrella, "Uh-huh...And what is your first order of business as Queen of the beach? Free popsicles and tennis balls for everyone?" Her gaze shifting towards Chloe with a giggle as she put the popsicle back in her mouth.
The collie held out her popsicle, mimicking Lucie. "Listen, she has a point. Free tennis balls and popsicles? For the day? I think I'd be in heaven! Queen Lucie, I wish to be a protectorate of the realm! With my whistle I will keep the peace as you rule with a soft paw." The group chuckled and continued towards the sunny beach. They all let out yips in surprise as the crashing waves reached out unexpectedly, pelting them with the wet sea breeze...
