Day on the beach - Sunset

As the sun began to set, the soft warm breeze carried the sounds of laughter along the beach front. The joyous laughter dimmed and gave way to the ever present cacophony of crashing waves upon the shore. The last glints of the setting sun played across the horizon in a colorful splash of red and blue hues. In an almost mirror like manner the ocean reflected the colorful sky's pallet. Save for the rolling ripples of incoming waves the horizon seemed to hang still in a moment of purity and bliss.
Lucie ran out ahead of the group, waving about her inflatable toy - the banana squeaked in reply to her sword-like swishes, "And then I bapped that meanie with Banana! Hopefully he learned his lesson to not step on anyone's sand castle again. Or else!!" She slowed her pace and squeezed the banana once more with a happy squeal, though the banana's expression didn't share the same attitude - it remained neutral.
Chloe and Aeril strode up along side Lucie, the duo chuckled at the excited pup's recounting of the events. Aeril shuffled about trying to carry her towel and the umbrella, "Uh-huh...that guy learned his lesson alright...I think he was just chasing a ball and wasn't paying attention to where he was going. You know how some fetchers are.." her gaze shifting towards Chloe with a giggle as she put the popsicle back in her mouth.
The collie rolled her eyes and as she held out her own popsicle, mimicking Lucie. "Listen, all I'm saying is that if there's something running or rolling...or flying through the air, it has a duty to be caught! Sometimes there is collateral damage... Lucie, you're just lucky I brought my whistle today. It seemed to scare him off more than mr. banana there!" The group chuckled and continued towards the parking lot in the twilight of the colorful sunset."
