(Chester and Geoff)
For a while, Geoff kept on running into the foggy darkness, w/ no end in sight. At first, it reminded Geoff way too much of when Chester made his false reality. After a bit, though, geometry began to form in this dark world. After going in far enough, the dark world had finally fully formed. Geoff looked at the place unsurely, there were floating pieces of land and different dangerous-looking things. Geoff cringed.
"Are you ready?" Chester asked in a reversal of roles.
"Fuck no," Geoff muttered.
Despite that, Geoff rushed forward w/o looking back.
FINAL MISSION START!
(Song: Abrasive from Spongeswap)
The stage itself ended up testing Geoff and Chester's abilities in the hardest way possible. There was a LOT of bottomless pit throughout, and Geoff had to do some really tight dash jumps to jump from small platform to small platform. As for other stuff, Geoff had to throw his staff to get to hard-to-reach pieces of ground, while using Chester's bladed chain to swing on them. As for enemies, there were these weird red and grey enemies. Geoff and Chester had realized w/ horror these creatures were modeled after them! The grey ones looked like silhouettes of Geoff, while the red ones obviously had Chester's likeness. Even worse, whenever Geoff and Chester changed weapons, the clones not only did the same thing, but they changed colors to match too! Oddly enough, though, the Chester clones were darker shaded in comparison. At some points, though, dark flames greatly would erupt from the abyss below at intervals, and Geoff would have to time his jumps so that he could get past w/o getting hit. Another thing was that some of the floating platforms would bob up and down and there were lots of grind rails, thereby making the jumps more treacherous! Despite, the difficulty, though, Geoff and Chester refused to give up, and they kept pressing on. As for Thread, fearing the flames, he hid in Chester's gooey fur. Eventually, though, the companions reached their destination. It was a huge wall w/ a simple dark door. Geoff looked at the door w/ an unsure look.
"I guess this is it..." Chester said softly.
Geoff nodded.
"Yeah, I guess so..."
He paused for a bit. Then, he reached for the doorknob and turned it, and opening the door. Taking a deep breath and letting it out, Geoff stepped through the doorway...
