Alternate title... "Wow, what a find!"
For Ashley Lee VIA the Fantasy Art Xchange community
Her anthro blue jay character, Veda who is an agent for an organization called the Eye of Jupiter. It is her job to seek out and report dimentional rifts.
Naturally, her organization would probably be interested in my ight'tia'ak species... a race of supernatural creatures that can create wormholes to travel anyplace in the galaxy. They are multidimensional beings meaning that they can (to some extent) freely travel between dimensions... and can even see multiple dimensions at once.
This particular ight'tia'ak does not seem amused that he's being studied.... but in all actuality, he dosen't care! While they are not an "evil" species, they care little about the going-ons of mortal beings because they see things in the grand scale of the universe. One single planet... or even an entire galaxy... means as little to them as a grain of sand on a beach.
Veda can ask this creature all the questions she wants to... it's never going to answer her. Even if he wanted to, they have no way of communicating with mortal beings.
But yeah... she was a fun character to draw... even though both of these characters didn't seem to want me to draw them. >_<
Plus it gave me the chance to try a different color scheme on an Ight'tia'ak. One that had an almost firey color instead of the cool blue of Casiel, my personal ight'tia'ak character.
