There is a lot of stories but I will simplify them because no one wants to read a Novel. I have sections with Dnd world and Ethan's Story.

Dnd world
Nala is a Kitsune whose race was ejected from the Faywild because of their pranks and trickery. The Elves have vanished and the Kitsune came in as a replacement race for the loss of a major group of long-living humanoids. Which there are 3 types of Kitsune
Reg-Kitsune: They have a Fox-like appearance and have 1 tail for every century they live. They can change their forms to look more human-like. Most of their children will be Kitsune no matter the race they breed with.
Adaptive-Kitsune: Like Nala, they changed to be more human-like with the noticeable Fox ears and tails, and each tail like Reg-Kitsune they get one for every century they live. When they have children it's a bit of a toss-up. With the Feywild blood, they have been known to have children with the Lycanthrop curse but the weaker version. They are stuck in full transformation as the creature at random for the rest of their lives.
Spiritual-Kitsune: these kitsune chose to be a roaming soul and slip into a pre-conceived baby and will appear fully human once born. The Spirit-Kitsune will always appear human and retain memories of their past lives, and also be powerful magic users. The spirit will get a new tail for each life lived to the fullest, and once they pass they seek a new body to inhabit to restart the process.

Once they reach 9 tails they are given permission to come back to the Feywild showing the Gods their patience, If they die before they reach their 9 tails they are reborn with 1 less tail. If they wish not to come back they will continue to live on growing more tails past the 9 they already have. The more tails they have the more powerful they become.

Ethan's story.
Nala is a master of the sun soul capable of creating fireballs and what looks like mini suns in her hands.
Before she became Ethan's mother she often traveled and wander the land until she settled in the Domain Kingdom where Ethan's father Ares met her and after a long time of training he challenged Nala for her hand in marriage. It did not go well and he lost brutally! Many suiters tried to win Nala's hand in marriage and while many gave up Ares continued to try, and each try he failed over 17 times. Nala being impressed with his hasty recovery and to continue to ask for her hand in marriage, after the 18th try and a brutal beat down she finally asked why he wished for her hand.
Ares said " The moment I saw you it felt like nothing in the world can compare to your beauty, your strength, skill, and finesse. I knew I had to earn that right for your hand, and seems I still need more time to earn your respect, compassion, and love."
Nala hurried Ares off back to his home to recover and after more than 3 days he came back trying again to win her hand. She gave him another Beating and said "In all my years no one has ever been willing to take a beat down as harsh as I gave over and over as you have. Yet you still come knowing you will lose and show even my patience can not beat your Determination. I concede"
After a few days of recovery ( still broke some of his bones) Ares won Nala's hand in marriage and became a loving couple having 3 children.
-The first child a human named Kano who followed his father's footsteps.
-The second child Ethan who was born with the Lycan-like curse and called "Lycan-born" with the appearance of a wolf, began to follow his father's footsteps but soon went out to become an adventure.
-The third child Aura another "Lycan-born" with the appearance of a Fox, began to follow her mother's footsteps but went to take the path of Dragons, becoming quite strong with fighting using abilities similar to dragons.
