He turned around and saw what was making the noise. A small brown cat with white patches was standing on the edge of the yard, looking back at the giant vehicle before it.
“So it was you, huh?” Percy said to the cat.
“Meow,” The cat replied.
Toby turned around and saw the cat also. The other buses turned too, and they all saw the little feline looking back at them.
“Ah, ain’t it a cutie?” Kenzine brightly said.
“Cats…ugh! They’re horrible and annoying things,” John grunted in disgust. “They swanker about leaving their mess all over the roads, all they ever do is sleep and lie about, and they have quite a nasty scratch on their paws!”
“Remind me not to get you a kitten this Christmas!” Bergus giggled.
