Because the Les Paul rocks! I had a Cherry Sunburst Les Paul with DiMazio super distortion humbuckers (Ace Frehley style) and OH MAN! The solos were insane!

Mine's a studio one, sunburst. totally amazing with distortion for solos , thats right. now the problem is , i aint good with solos :D

So just play the rhythm of the song. You can also improvise the solos. My playing aint spot on, but I just do what sounds right and go with it :D

I was tempted to save for the Epiphone version of that since the real deal's a little out of my price range. The SG style seems to suit that double neck thing more than any other body shape.
