It took me a little longer than I had planned, due to tiredness(and getting distracted...), but, here's something I've been working on for a couple weeks or so; I had wanted to revisit Calvin's reference sheet, to fine-tune it, and even alter his colors just a tinge, but, I always put it off, since I wasn't sure I could satisfy myself then. But now, I can easily say I'm deeply pleased with how this turned out. Calvin's new sheet boasts a richer color palette, a streamlined presentation, a completely reworked outfit, and a visual of his lamp! I had a lot of fun working on this, and experimenting with a smooth shading style, instead of cell shading. XD

Bio:
A royal djinn having served as attendant and care-taker to a young prince of a now-fallen Arabian kingdom 400 years ago. He was sealed for his own safety when jealous djinn attacked the kingdom, and drifted from place to place in slumber, losing track of how long he had been bottled up. He eventually finds himself in Colin's care, and swiftly decides to be his personal djinn, setting the groundwork for what was to become a solid companionship.

Calvin inherited his family's technique to channel mana from the air to grant any and all wishes he deems acceptable, or possible; however, with a slight hiccup. Unlike his relatives, magic tends to bubble inside his body, granting him a bloated appearance most of the time. Every wish granted is drawn from the stored magic, and the grander the wish, the more magic it takes to make it come true. Nine times out of ten, though, Colin is more content just snuggling with the bobcat, since his bloated physique makes for a pleasant source of warmth. And, unlike the norm, Calvin cannot bring himself to play tricks with wishes, for seeing one smile is much more favorable in his eyes; if you specify what you want, however, he'll do his best to please, albeit with slight confusion.

Raised by a strict upbringing, Calvin has a somewhat rustic style of speech, and vehemetly refuses to use contractions like "can't", or "won't". Soft, and bubbly in personality, Calvin shows great excitement when learning about the modern world's devices, and technology, and is incredibly slow to anger. Do not harm, or frighten his master, or you may find yourself being given a reprimanding; albeit a gentle one, but still. Don't anger the djinn.
